About Me

My photo
Kylie Gilbert
Namaste & G'day! I am Australian & a passionate supporter of Nepal. I had it ALL in my life ... but still I did not feel content! I felt like I was only existing & not truly living. And then I went on a holiday to Nepal … the experiences I had & the people I met affected me incredibly. I realised how fortunate I am & how unaware I was of the immense struggle residents of developing countries have in their lives without the basic needs we take for granted. My experiences in Nepal (& the friendships I have made with the Nepali people) have motivated me to get involved when and where I can in an attempt to make a worthwhile contribution to this very special country. There are millions of people in hundreds of countries all over the world that need assistance but for me personally it is all about Nepal ... because of the open-hearted, gentle people of Nepal … with their magical smiles & incredibly happy, positive & grateful attitudes to life, when every day is a struggle ..... I found meaning in my life!..........the MEANING of LIFE is to GIVE LIFE MEANING :)
