I visited Singe Village (2 1/2 hour walk from Nagarkot) with my good friend Manoj Tamang. This is Manoj's village and the family home is here where his Dad, Mum, Grandma, little sister and little brother live. We did a quick visit to Shree Deupur school and visited all 6 classes - prep and classes 1-5. The children were having exams so we couldn't stay for too long. In the Principal's office there was one small box of books and there was no water source (water had to be carried from a nearby water pipe) and the one toilet for 175 children w
