On Saturday 4th July, Julie and I held a Mega Community Garage Sale at my home.
With the help of Maureen, Michael, Di, Gerry and Jessie on the day, it was a huge success and we raised $2,500 for NAFA’s Earthquake Appeal.
Over 50 friends & family and other supporters of Nepal donated a wide variety of goods to sell. It was a mad shopping frenzy with many people coming back up to 5 times during the sale to buy more!
We are hoping this may become an annual event on the NAFA Calendar with all proceeds supporting schools in remote villages of Nepal.
What an incredible effort and outcome! Huge kudos to you all for organizing such a meaningful event—raising $2,500 is amazing. An annual tradition like this would be truly impactful.
